Our New Year's Message

After many years in funeral service, the New Year holiday has a poignant feel.  Each year brings loss and grief to many families, sometimes including our own, but we also see the healing and comfort that can come with the passage of time.   In the play “Our Town”, Thornton Wilder describes the hilltop cemetery, “an awful lot of sorrow has sort of quieted down up here”.

Looking back over decades of Port Huron funeral service and conversing with many of you about the family stories and histories we have shared causes us to reflect on how blessed we are to live in this community and be a part of the lives and deaths and settling down that occurs as the years pass.

We hope you enjoy the updated look of our website.  We plan to add some exciting features in upcoming months that will make the website more useful and usable for both bereaved families and the general public.  Visit us often and keep up with our improvements.
